Uganda is a gem to visit! - This was my second trip to Uganda. I did the primate treks last trip, which was great! This time, I wanted to see other parts of Uganda which I missed... read more out on last time. I did game drives at Kidepo and Murchison and of course saw the wonderful falls! Also Jinja, for the source of the Nile on a canoe trip and the Ziwa rhino sanctuary where we hiked close to them. Then Kenya for another game drive in a luxury tent site in the middle of the Savannah! All of the accommodations and food was incredible. In Kenya and Kidepo I visited 2 cultural groups that were welcoming and showed me about their way of life. The guide Brian was amazing. He can see animals miles before you can! He helped take pictures of me as I traveled alone. Very patient and kind person. So I recommend using Gorilla Safari Consultants. They can help you plan what you’d like to see even beyond the gorillas!
Unforgettable Experience in Uganda with GSC - It was a wonderful experience with GSC. We spent 5 days in Uganda and the tour covers Kibale NP, Queen Elizabeth NP and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP. The whole tour... read more is well-organized, high-efficient, compact, entertaining and beyond expectation.
In the enquery stage, Lynda is very responsive, flexible and of great assistance by replying to all my enqueries. In addition, since I have also contacted other operators, for the similar range of accommodation, vehicles, etc. GSC offered the best value for the money.
With regard to our driver/guide-Brian, he is so professional, devoted, patient, knowledgable and kind-hearted . throughout the journey, he has shared with us so much information about Uganda in such aspects as fauna, flora, sociology, ethnicity, just name a few. In short, Brian is a trust-worthy guide who makes your trip relaxed orchestrated and care-free.
There are some highlights in our journey worth sharing here:
1. Following Brian's advice, we took a overlook of Kymbura gorge at the top, while we were leaving, with his discerning eyes, Brian noticed Chimps on the tree. It's so surprising, because I know someone even failed to see chimps down in the gorge, but we by luck spotted four of them without paying for the license.
2. In Impenetrable Forest NP, we only walked for about 5-10 minutes before we successfully tracked the assigned Butukura Family- we were so lucky to avoid being worn out.
3. In Queen Elizabeth NP, in the morning, we spotted a serval which we have never seen before, even in Masai Mara; in the afternoon, we observed two verraux-eagle owls which is one of our favorite animals.
